Varsity Head Coach

Greg Spahn enters his 8th year as the Head Coach at Grand Rapids High School. Originally from Middleton, Wisconsin, Spahn had the opportunity to play for Kurt Gundlach, a Hall of Fame Coach during his prep years and for John O’Grady, another Hall of Fame Coach, during his collegiate career at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

Coach Spahn has experienced football at multiple levels, serving as an assistant at the middle school, high school and college level prior to becoming the head coach at Grand Rapids.

Coach Spahn, a Social Studies teacher at Grand Rapids High School, resides in Grand Rapids with his wife, Sarah, and their four children; Oliver (13), Elliott (11), Analise (9) and Iyla Ann (5).
